Removing Stains From Karastan Area Rugs
The beauty of having vinyl tile flooring is the ease getting spills out involves. Grab a bit of paper towel, wipe the spill, and voila! Mess eliminated and crisis averted. This is why vinyl tile flooring is so typical in the kitchen.
But that doesn’t mean spills ONLY occur in the kitchen, or that they are limited to the rooms you have installed vinyl tile flooring. That’s why this blog post is going to discuss the best way to get those spills out of your Karastan carpet and rugs.
The first step is to blot. Using a damp paper towel, blot the entirety of the stain as quickly as possible as a means for soaking up whatever it is that has been spilled.
Then, if you have carpet shampoo (if you don’t, we highly recommend it), mix it with hydrogen peroxide. Soak the mixture into a sponge or paper towel and blot the stain again.
Then, using the same sponge, wipe the stain with warm water and dry with paper towels.
By this point, the stain should be removed. If there is actual damage to the rug going beyond the stain itself, a rug cleaning specialist may be needed.
